TARTARE
Great food and healthy living!
WHAT IS TARTARE?
Tartare is a fast serve raw food restaurant concept that promotes healthy, sustainable eating options, and will be launching in Southern California.
WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY RAW FOOD?
At Tartare, all of our food is prepared with no ovens, fryers, or open flames of any kind.
Our food is free of any carcinogens which can be known to cause cancer.
IS TARTARE A VEGAN OR VEGETARIAN RESTAURANT?
We are not but, we do offer a large variety of vegetarian and vegan options. We encourage healthy living and offer hemp seeds as a vegan protein in many of our dishes.
Tartare does not offer animal meat in our restaurants but, we do offer fish and, may offer sustainable, non harmful animal products such as milk and, cheese.
WHY DO YOU USE HEMP HEARTS?
Hemps seeds provide 18g of healthy omega-3 and omega-6 proteins per service size of 2 oz. Hemps seeds have an environmental impact that is 41.6x less than beef. Compared to beef, hemp hearts use 85.5x less water, 19.7x less land, and produces 19.5x less carbon.
As we look into the future, with massive population growth on the horizon, we believe hemp hearts and Tartare will be the healthiest, most environmentally friendly, cruelty free, sustainable food options.
Tartare looks forward to feeding the masses as we build the smartest future we can!
How does eating at tartare save water?
It is estimated that a single pound of beef can cost as much as 3,500 gallons of water to produce. A single pound of hemp hearts, which is healthier and filled with better amino acids, only costs 40 gallons of water to produce.
That means each meal you eat at Tartare will save over 3,000 gallons of water.
Each Tartare location is estimated to save over 325,000,000 gallons of water each year.
